This eco-friendly safari tent is located in Coffee Bay, South Africa, right on the mouth of the Mapuzi River with stunning views of sandy coves and green hillsides on Eastern Cape of the Wild Coast. The river feeds out into the greater sea, surrounded by rocky reefs, the Mapuzi Caves, and refreshing surf. The property lies just over a mile outside of the idyllic Coffee Bay, home of the breathtaking Hole in the Wall Beach. Umtata is about an hour and a half away by car and East London is four hours away.

The Mapuzi River has some incredible fishing spots as well as scenic trails for ecotourism, hiking, and birdwatching through the Wild Coast. Kayaking from the mouth of the river is a particular highlight for many glampers, as is swimming and surfing out on the waves. Brave guests can explore the Mapuzi Caves and celebrate with a local drum lesson. Guests can rent a bike to better admire the surrounding region and experience some delightful pampering at the La Vita Spa in Coffee Bay after some shopping and a tasty lunch.
