This part of France is a great place to visit if guests are looking to spend their days cycling or hiking. The rolling hills and magical woodlands make for a magical setting to explore on bike or on foot. Guests can rent bikes from the property and cycle La Voie Verte, which is a 25-kilometer flat path that runs along the banks of the Dordogne River. The hosts will prepare special packed lunches for an additional price per person, and even arrange bicycle pick-up if requested. Winding their way through the valley are also several (pet-friendly) hiking and biking trails, which are called Grand Randonnée. Guests can stretch their legs and see the sights of the valley on trails such as the GR6 or the GR64A. The property also organizes canoe and kayak rentals and will pick-up and drop off the equipment for an additional price per guest, depending on the distance. It is a great way to see the Dordogne and explore the idyllic river valley. If not cycling or hiking through the valley, guests should take some time to visit Sarlat-La-Canéda and the other charming towns and castles along the Dordogne.
