The area boasts tremendous views of stunning landscapes, from lavender fields and cliffs to rolling hills and snow-covered mountaintops. Activities on land and on the water are endless in Provence, as the region is home to the deepest canyon in France, The Verdon Gorge, an aqueduct constructed by the Roman Empire, as well as lakes, markets, and boat trips for guests to enjoy. The same views that once inspired artists such as van Gogh, Cézanne, and Rénoir await glampers at this heavenly retreat along the coast of France.

To experience a bit of history in the area, guests are encouraged to explore The Pont Du Gard, an aqueduct constructed by the Roman Empire to supply water to a major city in the area. Vaison la Romaine and Orange are also interesting Roman sites that history buffs might care to visit.

Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur is home to the largest canyon in France, The Gorges du Verdon. The site is a must-see for the road trip it provides alone, as guests wind around the edge of the gorge by car or by bike. Hiking in and around the gorge is phenomenal, with challenging trails leading glampers to wildlife, greenery, and unique vantage points of the area. For fun on the water, guests are able to experience the gorge by pedal boat, kayak, and canoe, as they paddle up from the very bottom edge of the Gorges du Verdon.

For more time on the water, glampers are encouraged to visit the Lac de Saint Cassien, an incredibly blue lake, perfect for cooling off during the summertime. The lake hosts activities such as fishing, rowing, and kayaking, with water gear and equipment available for rental nearby.

Weekly markets hosted in the area allow guests the opportunity to dive into French culture, with local foods, wines, and handmade treasures available for purchase.
