This romantic cabin rental is nestled among the olive and fruit trees of Chania on the historic island of Crete in Greece. The kitchen features a propane gas stove for cooking simple meals and the living area has been fitted with comfortable seating. Outdoors, the wrap-around deck is a wonderful place to sit and admire the scenery. A rustic double sun lounger and the unique outdoor secluded room space (two walls) incorporates seating and a dining table which makes for a relaxing romantic meal under the olive branches. The property features everything needed for a comfortable getaway for two. There is a propane gas stove for cooking, an outdoor bath and shower, and bikes for guests to use to get around. This rental is an Eco-Shed/Off-Grid accommodation, so toilet facilities are by way of a self-composting toilet, and there is also an outdoor shower set into one of the olive trees, as well as an indoor shower.
As the property is far off the main road, car hire is included in the price. The host provides linen, toiletries, and a small welcome basket of local wine. Olives and fruits are provided on arrival, and guests can use the olive oil that has been harvested from the surrounding trees to cook simple meals.
Guests have access to a record player, LPs, a large selection of DVDS, television, Bose Bluetooth sound system and many interior design magazines and books. Outside, a unique outdoor room, to relax, sunbath, and dine also a barbecue fire pit, and a hammock. There is also a rooftop sunbathing area accessed by wooden steps.
Two bikes are provided so that couples can explore the beautiful countryside that surrounds them, as well as visiting the local café Neros in the three closest villages. The beach is only ten minutes drive away.

Chania was once a Minoan settlement before it was inhabited by the classical Greeks, a city steep in history and rich in culture. Guests will find many museums from different ages of history, as well as art galleries, markets, and gorgeous sandy beaches with clear blue waters. The White Mountains are close by, the peak of Pachnes stands tall at around 8,000 feet, and the Samaria Gorge is the most famous of its near-50 gorges. There are many beautiful beaches close by, the owner can also arrange a day or afternoon trip to two of his favorite secluded beaches, which includes a picnic hamper or a trip to the local village Taverna, to sample traditional Greek food at its best. Water sports are hugely popular on the island, and glampers can try their hand at surfing and jet skiing.
The White Mountains have many trekking routes that boast incredible views of the island and the range’s gorges are great for a bit of exploring. The archeological museums and art galleries give a good sense of the island’s history and the bars and restaurants serve authentic traditional greek food. A visit to Chania is a must with some wonderful restaurants; a list of the best is available in the accommodation.
