Traditional Villa Rental on the Gorgeous Island of Crete, Greece

This traditional and historical villa rental, the historical house of the heroes of the Cretan revolution against the Ottoman Turks in 1866, is located on the gorgeous Greek island of Crete, and can sleep up to four guests comfortably. In the bedroom, there is a plush double bed appointed with soft bedding and linens. The bathroom has a shower, a sink, and a toilet. Towels are kindly provided by the hosts.

The charming living room is bright and airy, with whitewashed walls and wooden floors combining to create a pleasant atmosphere that serves as a great refuge from the summer heat. Historical family portraits adorn the walls, and there is plenty of seating courtesy of armchairs and sofas. The kitchen has everything needed for guests to prepare meals together, and even a fireplace too. Meals can be enjoyed at either of the wooden dining tables. The cellar downstairs is where barrels of wine and olive oil are stored; this is off-limits but guests will be given a tour.

There's a lovely balcony with a couple of chairs and many plants, providing a great little spot to enjoy a drink in the fresh air. There's plenty of patio space for guests to enjoy, with plants all around providing shady spots and keeping everything cool. There's a wood-fired oven and barbecue to prepare meals outside to enjoy al fresco at the outdoor dining table. Towards the end of the garden there are shaded areas with more seating and a hanging bench.
