Modern And Luxurious Wooden Lodge In San Andres, Guatemala

Hut in Peten, Peten

2 guests

There are four guest houses built out of rock, sand, and wood and thatched with palm leaves. Most of the walls were built in the antique Colojché style, which consists of putting together sticks and small rocks and plastering them up with a sand and water mix. Some of the walls were left without the plaster so the beautiful art of the wood and sticks that lies beneath can be fully appreciated. All rooms are decorated with handcrafted lamps, original paintings and beautiful indigenous bedspreads and carpets. All rooms have views to the forest or to the lake. The Hummingbird Suite has one king-sized bed, the Deluxe Toucan Casita has two queen-sized beds and the Boa and Macaw Casitas have three full-sized beds.

The property includes a restaurant and bar, a private lake terrace and dock, private bathrooms with luxurious showers (hot and cold water) in all guest houses, fans, laundry service, a telephone (mobile), and a gift shop.
