Eco-Friendly Celtic Yurts on Family-Friendly Cider Orchard, Ireland
There are three eco-friendly luxury yurts on this property whose style perfectly marries the concepts of a Mongolian yurt with a Celtic roundhouse. All of the yurts were constructed with locally sourced materials and built on-site at the glamping property. The yurts are fully lined and insulated, and their outsides are cased in a waterproof coating.
Inside the yurts, guests will find all traditional and handcrafted furniture that was built on-site, including beautiful bed frames and bedside tables. All of the yurts can sleep a maximum of four guests, and each yurt has a queen- or king-size bed and two twin beds. Each yurt also has a wood-burning stove to keep glampers toasty when temperatures drop.
There is a shared kitchen and shared bathroom facilities for all glampers to use. The secluded bathroom facilities include showers and eco-friendly, dry composting toilets. Next to the kitchen is the large barbecue and the children's play area, which includes plenty of outdoor seating.
This glamping site has its own apple orchard, from which they produce cider. Glampers are not allowed to pick the apples in the orchard, as they are not for eating, as well as it can affect the crop.
In addition, there is a shared kitchen and shared bathroom facilities for all glampers to use. The secluded bathroom facilities include showers and eco-friendly, dry composting toilets. Next to the kitchen is the large barbecue and the children's play area, which includes plenty of outdoor seating.
