This gorgeous vacation rental sits in a pristine location on the rolling hills of the spectacular Val d'Orcia region of Tuscany. This idyllic rental can comfortably sleep up to five guests. There are several spacious and well-decorated bedrooms to accommodate all guests on their scenic Italian getaway. The bathrooms also come fully equipped and all linens and towels have been kindly provided by the hosts.
Guests will love the bright and open living spaces where they will find plush sofas and high-end furniture. The cozy living room comes with a television, a toasty fireplace, and more comfy furniture and makes the perfect spot to sit back and relax after a day of adventures in this fabulous region of the world. There is ample parking at the site. Guests will have the freedom to explore the grounds where they will find a shared pool, a tennis court, a BBQ, and gorgeous gardens. Midway between Florence and Rome, the site is also within easy reach of Siena, Arezzo, Perugia, Assisi, and Orvieto. Renaissance and medieval gems such as Pienza, Montepulciano, Monticchiello and Montalcino and the Abbey of Sant'Antimo are only a few miles away from the site. This property features several special services available upon request when booking for an additional fee. Services include extra domestic help with cleaning and washing for an additional hourly rate of 10 euros per hour and a private cook for dinner on weekdays. Dinners must be booked in advance, but menus can be discussed upon arrival. Meals include a first course, second course, and a dessert. Wine and water are not included in the price.
Guests may also choose to have a first shopping done for them upon arrival for an extra fee of 75 or 100 euros depending on the number of guests. The shopping list includes bread, butter, jam, honey, eggs, milk, one packet of Earl Grey tea, one packet of coffee, natural yogurt, orange juice, fruit, two kilograms of pasta, tomato sauce, one piece fresh parmesan cheese, salad, tomatoes, one liter of extra virgin olive oil, mineral water, beer, red wine, and dishwasher detergent.
Central heating and telephone use, if required, are metered and payable on the premises for each day of use. Guests should be aware that central heating is very expensive in Italy and that average costs in winter vary between 60 and 80 euros per day depending on outdoor temperatures and how long the heating is turned on. Firewood is available for an additional fee per basket.
A baby bed is available for children up to the age of four for an additional fee per week.

The prime location of the property allows guests the chance to visit the impressive Siena, Assisi, and Orvieto, perfect for day trips. Montalcino is also nearby and is beautifully situated on a hill inhabited since Etruscan times, swathed in vineyards and olive groves. It is a quiet, affluent, attractive town with pretty buildings and flower-filled squares, and many shops selling the Brunello di Montalcino. This is the perfect place to try some of the local wines. Those looking to truly indulge and relax can enjoy some of Tuscany's many hot springs with the most impressive being Saturnia. Steaming water collects in a number of white limestone basins - a rare natural spectacle and great fun to bathe in. Swimming is possible both in the natural basins and in smart thermal baths. Closer to the site, guests can head out through the woods and over the hills while hiking and admiring the stunning scenery.
