There are 28 tented lodges on this property. Upon reservation you may request a family tent, which will accommodate two extra guests. The tents are 26m2, and are built with palm thatched-roofs and wooden raised floors. The sides of the tents have netted screens to ensure that you stay cool without having nighttime visits by unwanted insects. These tented lodges come with either one queen size bed or two single beds. Each accommodation is furnished with a mahogany closet and a writing desk, and each has an en-suite bathroom with hot running water for the shower and the two washbasins, and a toilet. The bathroom is also equipped with electric sockets for shavers and charging of batteries. Each tent is provided with insect repellent and boiled drinking water.

During your stay at this site, enjoy the following: A riverfront dining deck and open-air lounge area, a swimming pool with a sunbathing terrace, a conference room with television and wildlife videos, custom-built four-wheel drive safari vehicles, 240-volt generator for electricity, a safety deposit box, a camp bookshop and guests’ reference library and a souvenir boutique.

This stunning Kenya-based glamping site is 345 kilometers from Nairobi, which is about a six-hour drive. The drive is a scenic one, passing through the settler towns of Nanyuki and Timau. Once at the site, you’ll experience the semi arid climate and enjoy the views of the nearby brown river. And don’t be surprised when you see an elephant make an appearance or witness a crocodile lounging by the river’s banks.

Full board rates include three meals a day, accommodation in the luxury tents, two game drives a day in open-sided Land Rover jeeps, as well as a free membership to the Adventurers’ Club for children.
