Glampers at this site can easily walk to Xcacel white powder sand beach, where one can spot fantastic wildlife including osprey, pelicans, mot-mot, king fishers, and turtles. Trees like zapote, chen-chen and chin-toc are part of the habitat -- offering shaded spots to read a book in peace and admire the beauty of the natural surroundings.
Each year turtles come lay their eggs on the shores of Xcacel and Xcacelito. This stretch of beach on the Caribbean Sea has become a sanctuary for the Caretta and Chelonia Mydas sea turtles. It is a wondrous place to see and experience. The host also offers trips to popular sites in the region, and to little-known cenotes and caves.
