LOCATION AND SURROUNDINGS
The kingdom of Morocco is located on the Atlantic coast where it unites with the Mediterranean ocean, combining an abundance of different landscapes. The luxury lodge is spread out across the entire country. While some sites, like those in Marrakesh or the Great South of the Sahara, are permanent, others are Nomad and are set up on different locations, such as the shores of the wild Atlantic Ocean, in mountainous regions or on lush green plains. The trips are custom-designed according to your wishes and desires. The concept of this glamping experience is to pass on the Nomadic spirit of the ancient Berber tribes, the first ethnic people to set foot on Moroccan soil thousands of years ago.
The glamping tents combine comfort luxury with a century-old way of lodging. The hosts provide 3 different types of luxury tents:
The historical Berber Nomad tent: This accommodation is hand-crafted and made out of goat wool. They are ordered directly from local manufacturers.
Tente Caïdale - has a geometrical shape and sleeps up to 4 people.
Tente Coloniale - or white lodge tents sleep up to 4 people.
The tents feature double or twin beds, sinks, toilet and shower - all features included no matter if permanent or Nomadic glamping site. Glamping units on each individual site are provided from 2 to up to 12 people and more, depending on the chosen program and type of people (family, group of friends, honeymooners, etc).
The glamping site provides: catering services on the spot (Nomadic restaurant tent with chef), personal driver and private car, personal shopper, personal trainer, nomadic concierge, group fire pit, linens and towels. Running water and electricity are supplied by generators or solar energy.
Depending on the glamping site location, there is a huge range of activities to engage in: From hiking, Nordic walking, trekking and horseback riding in the mountains, to camel riding, yoga, sand surfing or paragliding in the desert, to snorkeling, wind-/kitesurfing, jet skiing or fishing in the sea. From sightseeing and shopping in the souks, biking in the Essaouira, to taking oriental dance classes or treating yourself to spa and body treatments in Marrakesh, there seems to be no activity that is not offered. There is also the possibility to take a hot air balloon ride, private plane or helicopter flight or participate in wine and cooking classes or clay and henna workshops.
