Located on a lush farm near Lake Ijsselmeer, Friesland, in the Netherlands, this two-sleeper caravan will take guests back to the year 1963. With a vibrant interior and retro exterior and furnished to excellent standards, the glamping experience will certainly be one to remember.

Fitted with a double bed, linen, bedding, and a sitting area ideal for two people, guests will enjoy the comfortable amenities and facilities this caravan has to offer. Light meals can be prepared in the kitchenette, with a refrigerator, a coffeemaker, pots, pans, and utensils. The delicious meals prepared can be shared inside the caravan or al fresco under the parasol with a sitting area and a grill for Sunday barbecues.

The outdoors will be enjoyable for the guests with plenty of entertainment on the resort itself. Guests can sip on their morning coffee while the sun rises, enjoy a wholesome breakfast on the terrace, or savor a glass of wine to finish off an action-packed day.

A full Frisian breakfast is available if ordered the evening before and is served in the Art Deco dining room or outside on the Frisian Mediterranean patio, weather permitting.

The ecological, natural swimming pool is a great place to cool off in summer, with a large jetty ideal for sunbathing. For some relaxation, guests can use the infrared sauna.

Located in Northwest Holland, the picturesque town of Welgelegen is perfectly settled in the Frisian countryside between Workum and Hindeloopen. The province of Friesland is mostly mainland; however, it includes a number of the West Frisian Islands, such as Vieland, Schiermonnikoog, Terschelling, and Ameland. The islands are connected to the mainland by a ferry, making them easily accessible. With a vast, green landscape, part of the region is wooded and boasts lakes, the sea, and nostalgic towns and villages that are rich in history and have marvelous boutiques and century-old monuments. The bus and train station is located a short 500 meters from the glamping resort.

The resort, itself, is connected to a global kite-surfing school, located right on the resort. With the best surf and kiting spots, which are accessible from Welgelegen, glampers do not need to venture far for some fun in the sun. Summertime brings about a plethora of activities with summer markets, outdoor concerts and festivals, museums that are rich in history, and of course, kite-surfing as a popular attraction. Boat and nature lovers will be in their element with ample opportunities in the area. The property is also located on Bike Route 19, ideal for the adventure cyclists.
