This property is located in Katikati, New Zealand, and is situated on five hectares of stunning landscaped gardens. It is situated in the region of the Bay of Plenty, which is a beautiful area where glampers can enjoy the sunset over the mountains, go fishing, or just enjoy a stroll along the water. Kaimai Forest Park is a five-minute drive from the property and contains a number of historic mining and kauri logging sites, as well as featuring several popular tramping tracks. The city of Tauranga is approximately a 30-minute drive south-east of the property and hosts historic buildings like the Elms Mission Station, an 1847 Georgian-style home. A bridge over the harbor connects Tauranga to Mount Maunganui, a beach town with hot saltwater pools and an extinct namesake volcano with winding walking paths. Offshore is the active volcano White Island, accessible by helicopter or boat. A two-hour drive north-west will take glampers to the city of Auckland.

The Katikati Bird Gardens are nearby and offer bird-feeding to visitors, or glampers could check out the Haiku Walkway with its largest collection of haiku stones outside of Japan. The Uretara River Bird Walk offers birds in their natural habitat, as well as a relaxing and interesting stroll. Waihi Beach is a nearby surfing spot and the Hauraki Rail Trail at Karangahake Gorge is a great spot for a cycling tour. Guests can also enjoy perfect views of the Milky Way and can count shooting stars from the peaceful orchard without the light pollution of the town.
