Head into Kerikeri for a taste of the local food or a tour of one of the popular wineries in town. The historic Stone Store is worth a visit as well, as it is New Zealand’s oldest building that dates back over 400 years. Opua Forest and Haruru Falls, two stunning natural landmarks about an hour and a half from the property, are not to be missed, and glampers can lay out on the beaches by the bay for a few hours on their way south. The islands in the bay are equally alluring, with their sub-tropical scenery, thriving wildlife, and historic Polynesian landmarks scattered throughout the area.
