Guests will feel like royalty in this lavish private suite, with its satin covered extra-large double bed, en suite bathroom, and jetted jacuzzi on the secluded back deck. The room’s furnishings are either cream or deep red in color, with soothing yellow walls and potted green plants to throw in a splash of color. There is a chest of drawers for storing clothes and a mini refrigerator in the corner, with a cushioned sofa in one corner of the room next to the curtained double windows. The luxurious bathroom has both a glass standing shower and jetted tub, with shining hardwood floors and a large ceramic sink. On the deck outside, guests can relax with views of the sub-tropical garden and the pool, either from the patio chairs or in the hot tub situated behind the dividing wall. The entire suite provides the perfect retreat for guests hoping to explore Kerikeri and Northland New Zealand throughout their stay.

Each suite in the bed and breakfast has a large bed, sitting area, and an en suite bathroom. The rooms come with provided linens and a parking space for guests’ cars. Take a dip in the pool, play on the Wii in the common room, or soak in the sun on the inviting terrace. Head into Kerikeri for a taste of the local food or a tour of one of the popular wineries in town. The historic Stone Store is worth a visit as well, as it is New Zealand’s oldest building that dates back over 400 years. Opua Forest and Haruru Falls, two stunning natural landmarks about an hour and a half from the property, are not to be missed, and glampers can lay out on the beaches by the bay for a few hours on their way south. The islands in the bay are equally alluring, with their sub-tropical scenery, thriving wildlife, and historic Polynesian landmarks scattered throughout the area.
