These luxurious bell tents are perfect for a relaxing retreat on a farm along the Waikato River, North Island. There are two tents which accommodate two people in each, perfect for a couples getaway or a family vacation. They feature a lovely queen-size bed in each with deluxe bedding and linens. There is also extra seating in these tents for guests to curl up on with a good book and outside, they feature a deck boasting stunning views of the surroundings. The luxury Angus Belle tents offer the perfect cozy space to enjoy the bush and a working farm close to nature. These tents are ideal for romantic getaways, honeymoons and intimate weekends, specially set up for couples.

The shared bathroom facilities are complete with hot showers, flushing toilets and luxury eco-friendly toiletries to make glampers stay very comfortable. Shared facilities with the other bell tent on the property is a camp kitchen, which features a barbecue, tea/coffee facilities, and crockery/cutlery. Guests can cook their own food on the BBQ, visit one of the local pubs, or hosts can supply a gourmet inspired meal for guests to heat and eat.

There is parking at the farm. Guests will have access to the surrounding land for long walks in the morning. The accommodations include access to a barbecue. There is running water and electricity. The hosts have created a farm experience complete with bush walks, picnic sites and farm tours. There are lots of things to do, including feeding the eels in the dam, tramping to the Waikato River through our private bushland, collecting herbs and salad leaves in our foragers garden, brushing the donkeys or feeding the goats. Guests can read stories or play board games by lantern light, toast marshmallows over the campfire, or stargaze with no light pollution. For those looking to relax; enjoy an outdoor bath for two under the stars or there's nothing better than relishing in a glass of wine on the deck while admiring the incredible views which surround the tent.

For those guests looking for some more adventure, they can head to the Waikato River for some kayaking or canoeing. Thrill-seekers can book a skydiving trip at Mercer Airport where they can experience the North Island in all its beauty from up high.

Additional Information

The glamping area is 300 metres down the hill, so guests should bring some gumboots or walking shoes. The hosts can take guests to the site in a 4WD on request, guests should ask upon arrival.

Areas are clearly signposted, the hosts ask that guests close all gates behind them and respect the farm rules which are there for the safety of guests the livestock. Please note pets are not allowed at the site.

A complimentary baby cot is available; guests should inquire to hosts prior to arrival if this is necessary. Please note the baby cot does not include linen.
