This family-friendly vacation getaway is located near the Waitomo Caves in Hangatiki, New Zealand, and can accommodate up to seven guests. Surrounded by a 70-acre farm with more than 50 miniature rare-breed animals, ostriches, and emus, it is the perfect home base for experiencing this unique animal lover's paradise and exploring the surrounding area.

In this cozy accommodation, guests will find a bedroom, a common area, a kitchen, and a bathroom. The bedroom contains one queen-size bed and three twin beds. The bathroom contains a sink, a toilet, a shower, and a hairdryer. Linens and towels are provided.

The common area has comfy chairs, a TV, a dining area, and an additional queen-size bed. In the kitchen, guests will find a stove, an oven, a refrigerator, a microwave, kitchen utensils, a coffeemaker, tea, coffee, milk, and sugar. Additional amenities at this bed and breakfast include a hearty, homemade continental breakfast, Wi-Fi, an iron/ironing board, laundry facilities (small fee charged), and heaters.

Outside, guests will enjoy relaxing on the large deck watching the animals, playing in the yard, and using the grill to create meals together.

At this one-of-a-kind glamping getaway, guests receive with a continental breakfast with their stay that includes homemade bread, homemade preserves/fruit, homemade yogurt, juice, choice of four different kinds of cereal including homemade muesli and spreads, and bacon and egg on toast. Guests have use of a laundry facility an will enjoy free Wi-Fi at the main house. The hosts will also provide an ostrich/emu and miniature rare-breed animal tour, a miniature horse ride for children 30 kg and under, and a pines lookout scenic walk for free.

Some may not want to leave this animal lover's paradise. With more than 50 miniature furry friends to spend time with, guests will never be at a loss for something to do during their stay. However, black water rafting and caving tours at the world famous Waitomo Glowworm Caves are a must. Caveworld, also in Waitomo, offers a glowworm cave dusk tour that is an awesome experience for the evening. Set in a picturesque, park-like setting, the 18-hole Waitomo Golf Course is challenging for the serious golfer and welcoming for beginning golfers. The street murals and displays in nearby Otorohanga explain some of the country’s most significant cultural icons. Marokopa Falls, one of New Zealand's most impressive waterfalls, is worth the 40-minute drive.
