This beautiful room rental is perfect for a romantic retreat to the Bay of Plenty in New Zealand. It boasts rustic elegance with wooden floors and a crystal chandelier. The room accommodates two guests with a king-size bed, draped with deluxe linens with a small canopy above.
There is an antique desk where guests can catch up on emails or write postcards home. There is also an en-suite bathroom. Mt Maunganui, an extinct volcanic cone that gives the neighboring beach and town its name, dominates the surrounding landscape and is a hugely popular place to walk with absolutely stunning views from the summit. For those looking for an adventure, they can take a surf lesson, swim with dolphins, or even try skydiving over the incredible setting. There are fishing charters available and lovely beaches to visit. Inland, guests can seek out the best waterfalls, lakes, and thermal springs. The Kaituna River offers excellent white water rafting and kayaking. There are also scenic hot air balloon and helicopter flights for those who dare. There's something for everyone in this Kiwi oasis.
