Glampers will be sure to have a relaxing, tranquil holiday while staying in Whakapirau. As the property sits right on the edge of the Pahi River, guests can take a kayak right out on the water and explore the vast body of water that eventually leads to the Tasman Sea. In the harbor, guests can arrange to take a boat tour with one of the guide companies in town or sit down at a restaurant to try some of the fresh seafood. Glampers can also hike and mountain bike on the trails in Tangihua National Forest or the paths winding through the hills that surround the river.
In Whangarei, guests can visit the stunning turquoise waters of the Bay of Islands or tour the Whangarei Quarry Gardens. There are also plenty of coastal walks in the area and the Poor Knights Island Marine Reserve, where guests can boat through the breathtaking rock formations that protrude above the water. Auckland is another great city to visit for the day, with plenty of museums, shops, live music venues, and the Auckland Zoo and Aquarium.
