Guests can go on tours around the farm, where they can pick fresh fruit in the orchard or feed the animals, such as sheep, cows, goats, and pigs. They can also stroll through the landscaped gardens, or hike on the forested nature trails in the nearby Te Waerenga Scenic Reserve. Guests can also go hiking, cycling, and backpacking in Whakarewarewa Forest, less than a half hour away from the property.

In the warmer months, guests can swim in the clean, pristine waters of Lake Rotorua. They can also go boating, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, and canoeing. Guests can also visit Mokoia Island, rising up out of the heart of the lake, where they can relax on the sandy shores or hike up to Mount Tarawera, one of New Zealand's most famous volcanoes.
