This modern villa is located on Lake Taupo in New Zealand and is the perfect family-friendly getaway, accommodating up to six guests. There are two master bedrooms and a third master bedroom if required, all with ensuite bathrooms. The master bedrooms can have super-king beds or king single beds and open into ensuite bathrooms each with a sink, toilet, a bathtub, and double-glazed glass, giving guests the sense of bathing outside amongst the native forests. Linens and towels are provided.

In the living room, guests will find comfortable sofas, local art work, a dining area, and an open gas fireplace. The fully equipped kitchen comes with a stovetop, an oven, a refrigerator, a dishwasher, a toaster, a microwave, and all utensils and dishes. Other amenities include WiFi, laundry facilities, a TV with cable, and a DVD player.

Outside, there is a private terrace, lawn and swimming pool with perfect views of Lake Taupo's Mine Bay.

Outside guests have access to a solar heated mineralised water pool, private terraces with outdoor furniture, and a barbecue. There are tennis rackets and a petanque set to use on the tennis courts and petanque pit, private beaches, and a croquet lawn with croquet equipment available. Moreover, there are two kayaks for guests to take out on the lake, and life jackets to keep safe. There is a jetty and two boat ramps at the lake and a helipad for helicopter access.

Lake Taupo, created by a volcanic eruption almost 2000 years ago, is in the very heart of New Zealand's North Island and is surrounded by native forests and stunning mountain views of Ruapehu, Tongariro, Ngauruhoe, and Pihanga. This accommodation is a perfect balance, guests can relax and enjoy the complete privacy of the villa yet be close to all the local conveniences with Taupo town only ten minutes away by car. Moreover, New Zealand's most visited attraction, Huka Falls, is just north of the river, and Auckland and Wellington, two of the most populated cities in New Zealand, are both less than a five-hour drive away.

There is plenty to do whilst on vacation here at Lake Taupo. One of the popular day trips is to take a kayak or a boat tour around the scenic Western Bays of Lake Taupo and discover the Mine Bay Mãori Rock Carvings, an iconic cultural attraction where tourists can learn all about the history and story behind the carving. Moreover, Huka Falls is just north of the river and guests will be amazed as they witness the wonder of natural hydro power, as more than 220,000 liters of water crashes over the cliff face every second. There are plenty of walking trails and mountain biking tracks for glampers to admire the stunning native forests or bubbling mud pools, and for keen fishers, the nearby town of Turangi has the largest natural trout fishery in the world.
