This cozy holiday accommodation suite is located in Waiau, South Island, only an hour away from the beaches at Kaikoura. It can accommodate between nine and 12 guests.

Families can enjoy delicious dinners in the restaurant and couples or friends can enjoy the fully-stocked bar. Outside, there is a large deck with patio furniture, picnic tables, and spectacular views of the countryside and nearby snow-capped mountains.

Guests are only a short drive away from the Waiau River. They can go kayaking, canoeing, whitewater rafting, and fishing along the river. The lodge is an hour away from Pegasus Bay, where guests can boat, sail, paddleboard, and ride jet skis.

Guests can spend the day at Kaikoura, a coastal town only an hour away from the lodge. They can go on a whale watching tour, snorkel with seals, or stroll through museums and a lavender farm. Additionally, guests can head to the beach for swimming and surfing.

The lodge is conveniently located near many ski resorts in the Mount Lyford area and around the Southern Alps. After a day on the slopes, guests can warm up in hot springs at spas in the nearby resort town of Hanmer Springs. Additionally, guests can hike, climb, and ride horses or mountain bikes in the Southern Alps.

At the lodge, guests can soak in the hot tubs or take walks through the surrounding hills and woodlands. The hills and woodlands are great places to watch birds, view wildlife, and take photos of the gorgeous alpine landscape.

In addition, guests can take day trips to Christchurch, South Island's largest city. They can visit art galleries and botanical gardens, go shopping and dining, or take bike rides along the Avon River.
