This peaceful cottage located on a historic sheep farm near Christchurch, New Zealand, is great for a large glamping party. With four bedrooms, this rental can accommodate up to eight guests. The first two bedrooms feature queen-size beds. The third room features two twin-size beds, while the fourth bedroom has a set of twin-size bunk beds. Linens and towels may be provided for an additional fee.
In the spacious living room, guests will find plenty of seating, as well as a TV, a DVD player, a CD player, and a log burner. The open-concept kitchen and dining room is fully equipped with a stove, an oven, a refrigerator, a microwave, and a dishwasher. There is also a large dining table with seating for eight.
Guests may use the attached garage as a tack shed or bike storage unit. The garage also features two paddocks great for glampers travelling with horses. Glampers also have access to the nearby stable.
Outside, guests will find plenty of parking for their cars and trailers, in addition to a BBQ grill. Glampers can also enjoy the fantastic views of the Canterbury foothills from the north facing patio and BBQ area, perfect for enjoying great meals with family and friends, enjoying a delightful book, or marveling at the midnight sky with its shining stars.

Guests can also take in a sheep shearing demonstration, go on a pig hunting expedition, or join in on the tailing of the lambs if visiting in the autumn. The beautiful scenery also provides the perfect backdrop for hiking and cycling, as well as horseback riding. There are endless country trails perfect for trekking and exploring the beautiful wildlife surrounding this gorgeous property.
For glampers who want to venture off the property, the heart of Amberley, with numerous shops and dining options, is only about twenty minutes away from the glamping site. Fishing enthusiasts can make their way to the south branch of the Waipara River or take a trip to the Hurunui River. There, guests may be able to catch salmon or trout. The coastal town of Kaikoura makes for a perfect day trip and affords guests the opportunity to go whale watching and catch glimpses of other majestic animals.
Wine aficionados can make their way to the sprawling vineyards of Waipara Valley, where they will be able to tour wineries numerous wineries, learn about the art of winemaking, and try different vintages.
