The bed and breakfast is located near Lake Tekapo on New Zealand's South Island and is close to three well-known lakes along the Mackenzie Mountain Range. The room provides two guests with a queen-size bed and radiator heating, along with a wash basin. Linens and towels are provided.
Guests can take advantage of using a cozy living room with a fireplace and sofas, so they can relax while reading a good book from the small library. The dining room has a native wood table and chairs, is where guests can enjoy the complimentary hearty breakfast of eggs, bacon, and cereals.
Outside, there's a furnished deck for glampers to enjoy the view of the acreage. The smokehouse is also a store where the hosts make their own products. Other amenities include free Wi-Fi and parking.

Glampers will have plenty of activities to do in the area. Within a 40-minute drive is Lake Tekapo, part of the UNESCO Dark Sky Reserve, where guests can see the stars shine brightly. Less than a two-hour drive away is the protected Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park, where guests can enjoy some hiking or enjoy glaciers. Within an hour drive from the lodge is Timaru, a small port city built on lava from an extinct volcano. Another lake close to the bed and breakfast is Lake Pukaki, the second of three parallel lakes on the Mackenzie range.
