This romantic holiday rental is located just outside of the West Coast town of Hokitika on the South Island of New Zealand and can accommodate two guests. Located on the ground floor of the property, the room features a queen-size bed with lovely garden views, and there is a pair of French doors that open up to the property's veranda. In addition, the room includes a separate luggage storage room and an ensuite bathroom with a shower and heated tile floors.

Other amenities include luxury linens and towels, electric blankets and heating, tea and coffee facilities with complimentary homemade cookies, a television, and free Wi-Fi. A continental breakfast is also included in the daily rate.

The original accommodation was built in 1857 and represented the Colonial-style architecture that was representative of New Zealand in this time period. Unfortunately, a fire destroyed the building in 1994, but a new, beautiful building—made of repurposed timber, both in the exterior and interior—was constructed in its place and highlights a similar Colonial style in homage to the original accommodation.

All guests will have access to the guest lounge, as well as the property's gardens. In addition, the property has its own vegetable garden and uses all of its own produce in the cooking offered to guests, in addition to all local meat and fish from New Zealand.
