This relaxing and family-friendly apartment rental—complete with a private balcony with lovely mountain views—is perfect for a holiday in the Southern Alps of South Island, New Zealand. The rental can accommodate up to five guests and features two bedrooms: one with a queen-size bed and the other with two twin beds. In addition, there is a sofa bed in the lounge area, where the private balcony is located. There is one full bathroom with a shower and a fully equipped kitchen. As this rental consists of two separate rooms, if only one room is needed, the other room will be locked and not rented to other guests.

Other amenities include luxury linens and towels, electric blankets and heating, tea and coffee facilities with complimentary homemade cookies, a television, and free Wi-Fi. There are two breakfast options available each morning, a continental breakfast or a full breakfast, for extra fees.

The original accommodation was built in 1857 and represented the Colonial-style architecture that was representative of New Zealand in this time period. Unfortunately, a fire destroyed the building in 1994, but a new, beautiful building—made of repurposed timber, both in the exterior and interior—was constructed in its place and highlights a similar Colonial style in homage to the original accommodation.

All guests will have access to the guest lounge, as well as the property's gardens. In addition, the property has its own vegetable garden and uses all of its own produce in the cooking offered to guests, in addition to all local meat and fish from New Zealand.
