This unusual accommodation is nestled on the southern tip of Lake Wakatipu near Queenstown, South Island, and can accommodate three glampers for an unforgettable getaway. The quirky rental is made from a shipping container and offers privacy and comfy furnishings. The rental has a double bed with a twin bed above it and plush bedding. There is an ensuite bathroom with a sink, a toilet, and a shower. Additionally, glampers will find a kitchenette with a toaster, a wok, and a kettle, and there is also a barbecue. Light meals can be shared at the cozy dining table or outside in the private courtyard, where they can also kick-start the adventurous day ahead with a hot cup of coffee.
The glamping property boasts ample recreation for a fun-filled getaway to Kingston, with a pool, a hot tub, and sauna for relaxation. Furthermore, there is a bar area, barbecue facilities, garden games, and hammocks. Indoors, glampers will enjoy the cinema room, games room, the library, foosball, table tennis, a kitchen, and a fireplace.
A continental breakfast, with freshly-baked bread, jams, cereals, and tea and coffee, is served every morning.
This glamping property brims with amazing amenities and facilities for any discerning glamper to feel right at home. Shared facilities on-site include an array of outdoor recreation from garden games to afternoon cookouts, to relaxing in a hammock or taking one of our bikes, kayaks or canoe out for an explore. Additionally, there is a cinema room, a games room, a library, and a bar area. For relaxation, glampers can soak in the hot tub or sweat away any stress in the sauna.

Kingston offers an array of outdoor recreation and opportunity to reconnect with nature while still remaining close to the bustling Queenstown. On-site, glampers will ample to do without having to travel far. Here, they can enjoy garden games, a BBQ area, a games room, a cinema room, the use of kayaks and bikes, and plenty more. For those looking to take the waters, the scenic Lake Wakatipu offers swimming (if guests dare!), kayaking, boating, and fishing. The nearby Mataura River also offers plenty to do and both of these spots are ideal for a family picnic beneath the shadow of the trees.
For the adventurers, Eyre Mountains Conservation Park and the Around the Mountain Cycle Way offer amazing trails, paths, and fishing spots for the hikers, bikers, trampers, and trout anglers. Closer to Queenstown, glampers can enjoy some heart-thumping action with whitewater rafting, mountain biking, rock climbing, and swinging across a deep canyon on New Zealand’s largest swing.
For those that like to indulge, Queenstown boasts a vibrant nightlife and incredible restaurants while the scenic Gibbston Valley, also known as the "Valley of the Vines," is perfect for wine lovers with vineyards, a rugged landscape, and the Kawarau River gorge nearby. Back in Kingston, glampers can enjoy a scenic stroll, grab a bite to eat at the cafe, and visit the Kingston Flyer, a historic steam train parked up right here in Kingston.
