This safari-style bell tent is situated on Lake Hawea in South Island and is ideal for two, but can accommodate up to four.
Glampers can choose from a queen-size bed or multiple twin beds all dressed in cozy, quality linens. Bedside tables hold simple lighting and floor cushions and area rugs make for comfy spots to curl up with a good book. Towels are provided for glampers´ convenience.
Outside, there are camp chairs and a small table as well as a grill, perfect for a peaceful meal overlooking the lake.
These tents are constructed from durable canvas and are designed to represent those of vintage safaris and summer camps. They can be equipped with a queen-size bed or four twin beds. Bathroom facilities, catering, lighting and power, glamping kits, and a mess tent are available for an additional fee. The tents are popular for weddings, holidays, fishing and hunting, and corporate venues.

Lake Hawea invites endless opportunities for outdoor adventure amidst stunning natural surrounds. The lake is ideal for boating, swimming, kite surfing, kayaking, and windsurfing. Strolling along the shoreline or soaking up the sun on the beach make for a more relaxing way to spend time at the lake.
Timaru River tracks are excellent for walking or enjoying an afternoon picnic in a lovely forested valley. This area is also very popular for fishing and hunting. Southern Alps' Mount Aspiring National Park is the third largest park in New Zealand and is ideal for leisurely walking or adventurous climbing. The park is home to many species of birds, moths, and butterflies.
Situated near Wanaka is the largest ski area in the South Island...Treble Cone. Here, visitors can downhill ski and snowboard on some of the longest slopes or paraglide over the mountains and glaciers from Treble's highest peak. Crossfire, located in Wanaka, offers a driving range, mini-golf, a shooting range, and archery. Just outside of Wanaka is the outdoor maze and sculpture gallery of Puzzling World.
