This cottage rental is situated near Mapua seaside village and has quite a quirky feel to it as it oozes rural-chic charm. This makes it perfect for a family-friendly holiday near Nelson and Abel Tasman National Park. It boasts super king-size and twin single-size bedrooms as well as a third sleeping area in a mezzanine queen-size loft. Teenagers often squabble over who is going to sleep up there. The rental perfectly accommodates up to six guests.

Semi-detached, yet very private, this cottage celebrates art, style, and kiwi flavors with themes of iconic kiwi corrugated iron and koru art. The cottage has a secluded, super sunny designer garden, with flax, ferns, barn-red detailing, and garden art. It is nestled on seven acres and is on a cycleway, as well as close to The Great Taste Trail. It is just a few minutes by bike or car to wineries, artisans, beaches, cafes and is nestled in gorgeous country scenery.

There is a two-night minimum stay off-peak and a five-night minimum stay during peak times.

The coastal village of Mapua is just three kilometres away with some of Nelson's best restaurants on the Mapua Wharf.

Ruby Bay and Rabbit Island beaches are very close to this glamping site and offer pristine, sandy beaches. There are three national parks close to this glamping site; Abel Tasman, Kahurangi, Nelson Lakes; and world famous Pupu Springs, which all offer an abundance of activities for glampers. Such activities include; climbing, rafting, and kayaking, sea kayaking, tramping, mountain biking, guided walks and tours, golf, fishing, and skiing.

Guests will be able to wake up to tui singing throughout the valley, then savor the grapefruit cut earlier from the orchard for breakfast on a private deck. Glampers can simply relax a while in the sunny privacy of each other's company. Then head off to explore the great attractions and adventures that the Mapua, Ruby Bay, Ruby Coast, Tasman and Nelson region offer. Return later to sip excellent wines and to indulge in fabulous food at the local Mapua cafés.

Farm based activities from frog spotting, orchard wandering, sheep shearing and feeding, bird watching (quail, tui, bellbirds, pheasants, pukeko, ducks, hawks), and paddock exploring, can all be enjoyed at this glamping site. Glampers can also relax with a crisp glass of wine and take in the views from the deck and garden.
