Marahau

It’s one of the main stops before Abel Tasman National Park; Marahau is a scenic place to visit with a vibrant beach and plenty of cool activities. One of them involves renting a water taxi or kayak and exploring Marahau Beach. There are also many cafes in the town, so enjoy a morning of hopping between them and trying their unique foods. When you’re done exploring the town, you’ll take to Abel Tasman National Park, home to a vibrant selection of landscapes, including its scenic coast track, the dramatic beach in Split Apple Rock, and the stalagmites of Ngarua Caves. So don’t feel bad if you end up in Marahau before reaching the national park; if anything, the town is simply an extension of all the beauty Tasman’s wilderness has to offer.
