St Bathans

Referred to as a ghost town, there are less than 10 people living in St. Bathans. Still, it’s an interesting township to visit due to its history and vibrant outdoors. Plenty of Ghostbusters visit the region and report strange sightings in some of the homes. If the supernatural isn’t your thing, visit the Blue Lake. Once a mining hole, Blue Lake now offers visitors turquoise blue waters to explore. Also, it was once the deepest mining hole in South Island. To be honest, this region is also known to house a few ghosts. Nonetheless, St. Bathans is an experience of its own, so you can’t go wrong with spending a day there. Especially if you’re actually into the supernatural.
