This superb yurt rental is based on a stunning yoga retreat near the town of Takaka on New Zealand's South Island and offers a sublime getaway for those guests looking to meditate in a supportive and highly enjoyable environment. The accommodation can sleep up to three guests in a modest yet comfortable living area with beds provided for each. The yurt rental boasts incredible views of Golden Bay and is surrounded by native beech forest while less than a mile away from the western border of the spectacular Abel Tasman National Park.

The eco-friendly retreat is run using alternative power and guests will have access composting toilets, bathrooms and showers, and a dining area. The internet is only available for essential use.

All meals are provided and they are made up of a variety of vegetarian dishes.

Guests will be provided with a daily schedule that includes a wide variety of yoga practices as well as the opportunity to help the hosts run the retreat. The hosts offer Hatha Yoga, Karma Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Jnana Yoga, Raja Yoga, Yoga Nidra, meditation, and mouna. There are also ancient fire rituals to participate in and guests are invited to help out with cooking, gardening, chopping wood, and building.
