Luxury Bell Tent in a Forest on the Coast of Terceira Island, Azores, Portugal
This luxurious bell tent is located in the middle of a forest just five minutes from the center of Angra do Heroísmo, on the island of Terceira, in the Azores archipelago of Portugal and can accommodate four guests.
The spacious bell tent measures six meters in diameter and comes equipped with one queen-size inflatable mattress, sheets, and duvet covers, and extra mattresses can be provided for extra guests. The tent features two director chairs for extra comfort, three carpets, two nightstands, two solar-charging LED lamps, and one set of decorative lamps.
Just outside of the tent, glampers will have access to a bathroom equipped with a toilet, a sink, and a hot water shower. The glamping site provides one bath towel and one hand towel per person.
This glamping site welcomes guests to immerse themselves in the peaceful serenity of nature while enjoying a comfortable accommodation in an intimate setting. Nestled in a beautiful forest, guests will sleep under the privacy of towering trees where sparrows and blackbirds soar above, while waking up to the sound of roosters and chickens instead of an alarm clock.
Near the bell tent, guests will have access to a bathroom consisting of a toilet, a sink, and a hot water shower.
At the bottom of the stairs from the glamping site, there is a designated parking space for free on-site parking.

Guests will be optimally located to access several beaches and swimming areas close to the property. The Silveira bathing site’s natural pools are just two minutes away. The areas of Praia da Vitória, Biscoitos, Porto Martins, Quatro Ribeiras, and Porto das Cinco Ribeiras offer gorgeous beaches, natural pools, and swimming.
For game fishing, the best fishing spots can be found in Silveira, S. Mateus, Pesqueiro, Biscoitos, Porto Martins, and Porto Judeu. Diving enthusiasts can access the Archaeological Park of the Bay of Angra do Heroísmo, featuring the cemetery of anchors and the shipwrecked Lidador. Another notable diving spot is the D. João de Castro bank. Terceira offers the largest caldera in the archipelago and is a prime location for caving. Guests with the proper equipment and accompanied by a local guide can visit the Caldeira Guilherme Moniz. With a perimeter of 15 kilometers, this cave is effectively a volcanic chimney partially filled by lava, boasting approximately 100-meter deep caves and an impressive interior lagoon.
There is also a plethora of activities for guests to enjoy above the water. There are some spectacular hiking paths and horseback trails, including Mistérios Negros, Serreta, and Baías de Agualva. Other exciting points of interest to visit include the historic forts of São Sebastião and São João Baptista, the Palace of the Captains-General, the Monte Brasil, the Church of São Gonçalo, the Bettencourt Palace, the Angra Museum, and the Duke of Terceira Garden. Just a five-minute drive from the property, guests can find gourmet dining, bars, and shopping in the center of Angra do Heroismo.
