Pleasantly tucked away from crowded beaches and busy urban life, this luxurious granite holiday rental is located near Vila Real, Portugal, just on hour away from the major city of Porto. Guests can wake up in the morning to the sounds of birdsong and spend their days exploring the countryside.

The holiday rental can accommodate four to five guests and has its own private entrance and garden, which are accessed via a granite staircase. There are two bedrooms, both of which have an ensuite bathroom with a shower, a sink, and a toilet. In the first bedroom, there is a double bed and a built-in wardrobe, while in the second bedroom, guests will find a single-over-double bunk bed and a built-in wardrobe. Throughout the rest of the accommodation, guests will find a living room, a dining area, and a large, fully-equipped kitchen with all necessary appliances, cookware, and tableware for them to prepare homecooked meals all trip long.

Outside in the courtyard, there is a barbecue, a fountain, a large picnic table, and lots of pots with beautiful tropical plants. The pool house next to the courtyard has a cozy bar, a refrigerator, a bathroom, a stereo, a TV and DVD player, and a covered terrace. From the terrace, there are incredible views of the valley below where guests can relax after an afternoon in the stunning pool.

Guests should note that the granite building that holds this holiday rental is split down the middle, and there is another accommodation on the other side, but both rentals are extremely private.

Situated on the property of the glamping site are groves of orange trees, cherry trees, nut trees, and countless olive trees. There is a beautiful swimming pool surrounded by gardens and there is also a covered terrace next to the pool. The site offers badminton, table tennis, scrabble, dominoes, checkers, chess, and shuffleboard for guests to enjoy.

Daily rates include all bed linens and towels (excluding bath towels). Free Wi-Fi is available in and around the property's bar and restaurant.

The glamping site is located in Vila Nune, which is a small village in northern Portugal, about 35 kilometers from Guimaraes, a historical city listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Nestled amid the trees on a mountaintop, this glamping site boasts jaw-dropping views of the valley below and provides convenient access to numerous bike paths and walking trails. The Tamega River is easily accessible from the glamping site, and guests can find small natural beaches to swim at.

The Contemporary Art Museum in Porto definitely deserves a visit as well. Other towns and villages nearby include Vila Real, the fishing village of Povo de Varzim, and Viana do Castelo.

Additional Information

Pets are not allowed, although, the hosts have a dog, Vinha, and a cat, Beauty, that roam the property freely.

All accommodations are non-smoking. Guests can only smoke in the designated outdoor smoking area.

Groups and events are only permitted upon prior request.

High season requires a minimum stay of one week or seven days.

For all bookings, guests are required to pay a security deposit of 150 euros upon arrival.
