Camping Trips in Italy

Martina Mikuličová:

The tents are really cool, spacious and clean and the proximity to the beach and Venice is amazing. Also, lots of facilities such as supermarket, restaurants and bars nearby. The disappointing part was the fact that it's really in the huge campground with many other people (especially German families with kids), camper vans, tents, etc. (it was mentioned in the description but we have somehow overlook this fact). There are common bathroom facilities for all these people which I find ridiculous. Glamping should have at least their own, separate bathroom facilities (even if they are common for all glamping guests) and there should be at least basic toiletries provided - we even had to buy our own toilet paper! So besides having a nice tent, it's really more camping, rather than glamping. Also, the bathroom was quite far and it was stormy and rainy during our stay, so when we finally took a shower, we were running back to the tent on the unpaved grassy surface and came back to the tent with muddy feet - very glamourous! Overall, the stay was OK but nothing unique, mostly due to its super commercial nature and lack of special character which I would normally expect from glamping experience.
