Dog-Friendly Glamping Holidays in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté
Over all, this was a really great experience. The host was super helpful, and responsive to our needs. The area is beautiful, and the cabin is quaint. The only negative comments I have are that the cabin still had dog hair (it is a dog friendly place, but I assumed there wouldn't be dog hair left from previous visits or personal use since there is a cleanup fee on top of the rental fee).
Bonna is a wonderful and welcoming host. Her property and the surrounding area are beautiful. The yurt was very well equipped, and there was plenty of firewood to keep warm. My dog and I had a great time hiking around Bonna's property and the surrounding wilderness. I would definitely recommend this destination for anyone looking to unhook, unwind, and get away.
We had a terrific time staying two nights here. Our group was four adult men plus a small dog, yet despite the 12x12 confines, we were quite comfortable--that sleep loft was a convenient getaway. The cabin was well-appointed (Though the furniture was rickety. Beware the rocking chair! lol) with plenty of linens and towels, books and a cribbage board. The wood-burning stove heated the cabin to 74 degrees when outside temps were in the teens and was perfect for skillet and stove-top meals. The blanket of snow made for a picturesque setting, and our three-hour hike around the grounds was well-marked and maintained. I rated the activities straight down the middle, as we didn't see a soul over two days. But isn't that the point of a hut? The peace and quiet were terrific. Thanks for a welcomed getaway for me, my son, my cousin, my cousin-in-law and Coconut. We'll gladly come back any time of the year.
