Mount Hood National Forest is one of the most famous spots for hikers and campers to enjoy. With snow-capped peaks, an abundance of hiking trails and ski runs, as well as crashing waterfalls dotted throughout the park, it isn’t hard to see why. Have a go at skiing down the slopes of the iconic Timberline Lodge, or visit the active volcano at Mount Hood. You can even catch mountain panoramas at Wahkeena Falls, where glimpses of waterfalls aren’t rare, and see the canyon stretch out below you on the Historic Columbia River Highway. Don’t forget to stay in an eco-friendly cabin when you’re here, to best celebrate your surroundings by giving them a helping hand. You can do all this as you relax in the cozy interiors of your cabin.
