Among the central part of New York, the Finger Lakes region is a popular glamping destination during the summer months. The Finger Lakes region is composed of 11 lakes that resemble the shapes of fingers from a satellite view. Within this region, there are some of the deepest lakes throughout the US. The 11 lakes consist of Otisco, Owasco, Hemlock, Keuka, Honeoye, Canadice, Conesus, Cayuga, Seneca, Canandaigua, and Skaneateles, while at times including the Cazenovia and Oneida lakes as the 12th and 13th lakes. A summer vacation rental with a pool near the Finger Lakes allows glampers close access to the many rivers as well as stunning views of the neighboring Adirondack Mountains. Activities such as water sports, fishing, and swimming are available throughout this lake region.
