Within the Southern hills of Illinois, the Shawnee National Forest attracts many glampers from around the world because of the stunning colors and wildflowers. A unique spring getaway near Shawnee National Forest allows glampers access to more than 280,000-acres of land to view the stunning greenery. Glampers can check out the man-made Cedar Lake that was created due to the increasing pressure from the Cedar Creek. Within this national forest, glampers can visit seven different wilderness area which can render a unique spring getaway even more special. Some of these wilderness areas are Bald Knob, Bay Creek, Lusk Creek, and Panther Den.
