Where to Go near Margaret River in 2019
Nadia Vind: "so easy and relaxing. loved our getaway"
Vienna Dryka: "Was a great little spot and perfect location"
Clare McAlaney: "Everything about this glamping property is positive. From the ease of check-in, to the well-appointed home. To be honest, it is glamping at its best. The dam and all its surrounds are superb. While we didn't use it as it was a tad cool for us, we could imagine families in the shed just before dusk next to the pot belly stove, kids jumping off the landing or swinging from the rope into the water. It makes memories that glue families. In the morning, stroll through the bush track on your own property, around 1100m, with no sound other than birds and a gentle breeze. You can extend the walk either way up the quiet road and perhaps spy kangaroos or an emu. We did! Surrounding areas are magical, too many to list! This entire region reminds me of Bright in Victoria. Bring your bikes and enjoy the paths or mountain bikes for the trails. Experience boutique wineries or the history. There is simply so much on your doorstep. The local produce is perfect and the kitchen is equipped for you to cook at home, or, in your own outdoor kitchen area where you can have a game on the perfectly grassed area, or swing in the hammock. It was a little cool for us at night so we lit the potbelly stove, which kept the home warm through the day. I can imagine it would stay cool in summer. The beds are comfortable, room sizes generous. Is this glamping? If so, I am hooked! Any family wanting to build relationships and memories that last decades will seriously love this homestead."Show More
