Winter Camping near Toronto
A camping trip doesn't necessarily have to be in the forest, with a tent, a sleeping bag, and a fire. In our books, with direct access to the great outdoors and days spent hiking, biking, climbing, and even skiing, ice skating, or snowmobiling, that sounds like a pretty good camping trip to us. So don't rule out winter camping before you try it, especially if you can sleep in one of these cozy log cabins, romantic cottages, insulated yurts, or whatever else might catch your eye. If you're in the greater Toronto area, or even just passing through, take a look at what we think are some of our favorite winter camping destinations near the city, all with heating of course.
