An awesome experience that could have been made even better had their been better communication, i.e. had to drive well past the location of the tent to pick up the key, would have made better sense to have asked if we where driving there and give directions and location of key on site - also, had we known that it wasn't close by we may have made a bigger effort to get their sooner so we could enjoy the experience more. The bathroom really needs some work, that composting toilet was horrible and no ventilation in that space was less than ideal. The sound of traffic was a bit off putting, very close to quite a major road. On the plus - the food was superb, the bath was amazing and the tent was incredibly clean. On the whole a great experience that I would recommend.

Wonderful little weekend getaway to reconnect and relax. We stayed one night and wished we had booked more. Heard kiwis at night and would have loved to go exploring but it was torrential raining. Tent was waterproof, cosy and had an abundance of extra blankets which kept us snuggly. Looking forward to going again in summer.

Wonderful place to spend a night or two. One of the rare places you can appreciate the country so close to the coast. We had a fantastic night, with the outdoor bath, campfire, star gazing and Girl (resident dog) keeping us entertained. Tracey and Graeme left us some lovely fresh produce and we had everything we needed for our stay. The bed was so comfy and the tent was very spacious. Highly recommend!
