Laura Pegram: "The place offers the best of camping without the hassle. Beautiful surroundings. Very private. Great location (less than 15 mins into Blowing Rock). The sleeping tent was clean with 4 sets of bunk bed (each bed with a single size air mattress). It is stocked with a propane heater, propane lantern, battery operated fan and a small dining table. Note: On a cool night the air mattress feels cool underneath you if you do not bring a warm blanket to cover the mattress. The open air cooking area is stocked with the basics and a has fairly large table. Recommend bringing some kitchen towels, coffee cups and a stovetop coffee maker. Had a wonderful time here. We will definitely be back. NOTE: The road down to the tent site might be a bit challenging if you are not in an all-wheel or 4-wheel drive vehicle."
Elizabeth Kirkman: "My husband and I spent an incredible weekend in this luxury cabin tent. Brookes was a perfect hostess and made sure everything was just fabulous. A cold front moved in but we had a warm, cozy tent. The food was fantastic! Brookes made great recommendations on how to spend our time while in the area. Great time! Highly recommend!"
Keith Gillespie: "Unfortunately we had unexpected high winds and 1-2 inches of spring snow and did not get to stay in the tipi due to the wind. However the owners were more that accommodating in allowing us to transfer to the on site cabin and had the entire campground to ourself. Very peaceful and enjoyed a campfire with s'mores the day before the wind and snow. Went for an adventure in a tipi but had a good weather adventure instead. We would definitely stay again in the tipi, cabin or campsite possibly during the annual music festival."
