Franchell Punay: "I and my partner celebrated our 10th Anniversary at Greenwell Point. It was a new experience for us. We rented a boho glamping tent. The set up was like a dream come true. They gave us food. The staffs were excellent because we forgot our key inside the shower and one of the staff came even though she was already off work and that was around 9pm. The days were fully packed with activities! It was really memorable! So worth it!"
Kate Mitchell: "We had a great time glamping here. It was quiet and peaceful. The tent was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay."
Glynn Firth: "This was everything I wanted it to be and more. I wanted a quiet, relaxed, couple of days off at what is the busiest time of the year: New Year’s Eve. I’ve done Luna Park, Opera Bar, the grass behind the Opera House - I wanted the opposite. I’ve been glamping once before. You could see other properties from yours, there was a communal restaurant and a hut where you could grab bikes and canoes. There were always people around. At the tipi we saw Lionel on arrival (who showed us around and how to get to the creek) we heard a couple of cars, and we caught a glimpse of some hikers through the woods - apart from that we saw no one else for nearly 3 days - it was bliss. The walk to and from the creek is much more difficult than expected and leaves you feeling like you’ve been on an actual adventure especially when you get to the creek and you have it to yourself (which we did) for 4 hours. I’ve never swam in a place like that (or drank out of open water) which also added to the adventure. Sitting by our campfire every night was perfect, we even made friends with some very curious magpies (I’m sure if we’d stayed a couple more days they would have let me hand feed them). I read some other reviews about staying here and can only think that the negative ones should have stayed in a hotel as there wasn’t a single surprise for me (the drop toilet is something I haven’t encountered before but how else would you deal with it when you’re perched halfway up a small cliff in the wilderness? Also, whoever complained about the smell, it doesn’t/can’t smell due to its design!) In short, I absolutely loved staying here and I would definitely stay again."
