Yurt and Tent Rentals near Camelford

What an amazing place! After the heatwave we've just had for 2 months, our weekend away was sadly effected by stormy weather but the yurt was still perfect, aside from the wind being so noisy! Due to the colder weather, we were able to enjoy the cosier aspects of our yurt, such as the indoor fire place, which made for a really romantic stay that was just what we needed. The yurts are well spaced out, allowing for privacy and having the option to cook, dine and have a fire going inside or out is a lovely feature, allowing for diversity in the weather. The fairy lights were another feature we loved as it got darker and had there been stars, the star gazing roof was brilliant (aside from the trees that have got a little bigger and are beginning to block the view). The only thing I would have liked would be a curtain feature of some sort attached to the roof so that you can close it in the morning as the sun gets bright very early (if it's sunny). Aside from all this, the only thing i'd mention is the bed is actually a standard double rather than a king as advertised, this didn't effect us at all but is worth noting if this is something people are looking for. Owners were lovely and allowed us privacy.

This safari tent is amazing!!! Every detail has been thought out. There's a bathroom with a shower, a kitchen complete with a mini oven/range and mini fridge. It has a BBQ and jacuzzi. The views at all times of the day are simply breathtaking, all the stars come out at night. The bed is more comfortable than many I've slept in at hotels. I did bring an extra blanket just to have the comfort of something from home and I was glad I did, it does get a little chilly at night, but the bed is also heated! We didn't know what to expect as we had never been glamping but our experience was simply amazing. My husband is a type A personality, he always needs to be doing or planning something, and even he was able to simply let go and really chill out. I highly recommend staying here. 1 tip is that the last bit of road to the tent is dirt and gravel and a little steep, you'll need a vehicle with some clearance. A car can easily do it but not a low slung car.

My family had a wonderful time here and we wish we could have stayed longer. The tents were comfortable and the land they are on is beautiful. The restroom and shower facilities on site are kept clean and there were plenty to use. Tents and beds were pretty clean and they were well spaced, so that you aren't sharing your space with other campers. Firewood was available for purchase for $20. Charcoal, lighter fluid and BBQ are on each camp site, free to use. Bring your cooler full of food, drinks and ice! I overheard people complaining about how hot their camping experience was in other areas closer to Zion National Park. Though a bit further away (about 35-40 minutes), this site near Hurricane did seem to get pleasantly cooler in the evenings and there weren't many bugs and no mosquitoes. Overall, we loved it and hope to return soon!
