Natalie Ayris: "What an amazing place! After the heatwave we've just had for 2 months, our weekend away was sadly effected by stormy weather but the yurt was still perfect, aside from the wind being so noisy! Due to the colder weather, we were able to enjoy the cosier aspects of our yurt, such as the indoor fire place, which made for a really romantic stay that was just what we needed. The yurts are well spaced out, allowing for privacy and having the option to cook, dine and have a fire going inside or out is a lovely feature, allowing for diversity in the weather. The fairy lights were another feature we loved as it got darker and had there been stars, the star gazing roof was brilliant (aside from the trees that have got a little bigger and are beginning to block the view). The only thing I would have liked would be a curtain feature of some sort attached to the roof so that you can close it in the morning as the sun gets bright very early (if it's sunny). Aside from all this, the only thing i'd mention is the bed is actually a standard double rather than a king as advertised, this didn't effect us at all but is worth noting if this is something people are looking for. Owners were lovely and allowed us privacy."
Daryl Hulse: "Myself and my boyfriend stayed in the large Yurt for a few days over New Year and we absolutely had the best time! Our hosts, Jim and Monika, were fabulous from the moment we made our booking request until we left - extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful people. They quickly responded to any questions we had before our arrival and were proactive in searching for vineyards, restaurants and activities for us to visit. Once we did arrive Jim met us in the town to guide us through the very narrow roads (!) and we were then invited into their beautiful home for tea and a chat before settling into our yurt for the coming days. We were blown away by our surroundings and the yurt itself was perfect - if you are looking for charm and serenity, away from city life, then this is the place for you. As we visited during a quiet period, day-to-day we took our hire car and whizzed around visiting the natural sites such as; the Salagou Lake and various natural heritage sites as well as other nearby towns. We're also quite sure that the environment (perhaps something in the air) has positively impacted our lives as lots of good things have happened since we left! We would love to come back during Summer months to do some watersports and to see the caves - not to mention the wine! A huge thanks to Jim and Monika, we look forward to seeing you both soon. Daryl and Dee x"
Melanie Vaughan: "We had an amazing time staying in the large yurt , which had more than enough space for 6 people. The relaxation hour with James was wonderful and the location and surroundings were beautiful. A really great experience over all!"
