Mellony Floyd: "We only stayed for one night during a road trip around Europe but this one stood out for us. Fantastic communication from Jim, he answered my emails quickly and arranged to meet us in the village on our arrival to show us the way as they can be tricky to find. Monika the host is so welcoming, helpful and has such a relaxed, kind spirit that she put us immediately at ease. The yurt being tucked away in the trees and a good distance from the house, making you feel nicely secluded. We loved listening to the frogs in the creek in the evening and had a the most fantastic sleep. The interior of the yurt is sympathetic to a traditional style yurt whist also being comfortable and cosy. There is also use of Eco toilets and a separate kitchen in a wooden hut in the garden where you can prepare your own meals or have a meal, prepared and delivered to the kitchen by Monika. We opted to have the 'brunch' option, which was incredible !! Monika took great care over the preparation, and set it all out beautifully and even lit cradles for us, it was a magical and romantic start to our day. We left feeling totally relaxed and rivived. Thank you Monika and Jim. Mellony and Martyn x"
Daryl Hulse: "Myself and my boyfriend stayed in the large Yurt for a few days over New Year and we absolutely had the best time! Our hosts, Jim and Monika, were fabulous from the moment we made our booking request until we left - extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful people. They quickly responded to any questions we had before our arrival and were proactive in searching for vineyards, restaurants and activities for us to visit. Once we did arrive Jim met us in the town to guide us through the very narrow roads (!) and we were then invited into their beautiful home for tea and a chat before settling into our yurt for the coming days. We were blown away by our surroundings and the yurt itself was perfect - if you are looking for charm and serenity, away from city life, then this is the place for you. As we visited during a quiet period, day-to-day we took our hire car and whizzed around visiting the natural sites such as; the Salagou Lake and various natural heritage sites as well as other nearby towns. We're also quite sure that the environment (perhaps something in the air) has positively impacted our lives as lots of good things have happened since we left! We would love to come back during Summer months to do some watersports and to see the caves - not to mention the wine! A huge thanks to Jim and Monika, we look forward to seeing you both soon. Melanie Vaughan: "We had an amazing time staying in the large yurt , which had more than enough space for 6 people. The relaxation hour with James was wonderful and the location and surroundings were beautiful. A really great experience over all!"
