Kevin Anderson: "What a great experience! Hosts were top notch and very friendly! Yurt was very clean and very comfortable! Great breakfast prepared in the morning for us!"
zach holz: "Such an amazing retreat in the woods in Oregon's wine country! We loved our one night here. Every comfort you could ever want while camping was provided. The location is secluded and very private, with lovely trails around the woods, a fire pit (with a pre-made fire!), the best camp shower you'll ever use, and a comfy bed in a solid canvas tent. We had a busy day of wine tastings and a dinner in town, but I know that I would have enjoyed the place even more if we took more time to just sit and relax, and cook a nice camp stove meal on the property. The camp really invites you to relax, with the sound of birds in the morning and the calm, fresh air at night. Definitely a great special occasion place, but also affordable enough to just go out for fun. Good wineries close by, and not a far drive into Newberg or Dundee either. Would wholeheartedly recommend staying here! Takes your camping experience to the next level."
Anissa Fay: "Ken and Janet are such lovely and generous hosts and we will definitely be coming back again! We stayed in Calapooya, which is a smaller tipi on the edge of the property. We loved the secluded location of our tent and the sound of the river at night! Since our stay was in April, the temperatures got into the 30s at night, but Ken and Janet had provided extra wool blankets and we were very cozy. This property is beautiful and well maintained. We enjoyed a soak in the hot tub (that Ken built!) and picnicked by the creek on the main lawn. There is an outdoor fridge for guests to use and an outdoor kitchen area with a sink and food prep area. Ken also pointed us to a great hike at the nearby (30 min. away) Mt. Pisgah Arboretum, which was the perfect activity for us! Other guests also visited the Saturday Market (crafts, food, music, etc.) in Eugene and enjoyed that activity too. Breakfast here is truly remarkable! Ken and Janet use the eggs from their chickens to fire up some beautiful frittatas and scones, served with tons of other sides too. I definitely recommend this as a couple's getaway, although I can imagine that in the summer it is a really festive place for the family too."
