Yurt and Tent Rentals near South Bend
We were 3 women celebrating a 60 birthday. We had a great time staying in the tipi! So special and memorable! It really had everything we needed. LOVED the outdoor shower! We used the grill and propane fire pit., but didn’t spend any time in the trailer. The only negative is that the Porta John is a one minute walk down a path from the tipi and camper. The lake was green and covered with lily pads. It would probably be nice in early summer. It rained the second night, but we stayed dry in the tipi. There were a few drips, but they didn’t affect us. Bring mosquito repellent. We got some bites and did used the mosquito netting. We were thankful for the screened in area by the trailer. Again, this is camping. But it is so much fun! Would do it again!
Alex is a wonderful host. The uniqueness of the place are the tents. I loved the interiors, it's bohemian yet simple and cozy. There is a stud farm next to the site and the horses just walked up to us and the sunsets are brilliant. The people who live in this park are warm and friendly. It is definitely worth a visit and the grass is always green ;)
The stay at the tipi was wonderful and unique for sure! We love camping but we just shouldn't have gone in mid-July there were to many bugs with it being back in the woods area. The surrounding area doesn't have too many places to go as far as groceries or food. Luckily we packed a lot of our food and bent harbor isn't too far away if you want to go for the day. we loved it! with the rustic feel and getting to sleep in a tipi! the shower worked great as well as having the camper too cook in! Bonfire was awesome to sit around at night and bruce was very accommodating. Always willing to help with restaurants, or if things were working at the camp. very east to get ahold of as well. Thank you for the stay !
