Yurt and Tent Rentals in South Padre Island
We were celebrating my 30th birthday and our 10 year anniversary. We loved our stay. It was a little difficult to navigate though. Lots of places were closed or completely gone. A brochure with a detailed map including local restaurants, bars, shopping, grocery would have been amazing. There was also a tornado warning during our stay. We were very frightened. We weren’t sure where we would go Incase of an emergency. I also got locked in the bathrooms for a good 10 minutes before anyone heard my banging and yelling. And it took them another 5 minutes before they got me out. It was a vacation to remember for sure.
This was the BEST experience I've had, well, in my entire life! My husband and I were there late January (it was brisk at night and around 60 degrees in the daytime). The tent was more magnificent than any photo could imply. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, but I was blown away by the waterfall! I wasn't expecting that. We walked a lot every day, saw deer and wild hogs UP CLOSE, loved the hot tub, spent time around the fire pit, lounged around the deck (read some, napped and reconnected) and enjoyed cooking on the grill. We look forward to going back and would like to thank Jim for his wonderful hospitality and ingenuity. Glamping at its finest!
Unique yurt and overall was a great experience. Would have liked a little more to do at the site but still kept us busy enough and was relaxing.
